Agreement and order of documents
By using this website or authorizing work, you agree to the terms that apply to that use or service. You must be at least 18 or have authorization from a parent, guardian or responsible organization, and you must have lawful authority over every device, account, file, shipment or item you provide.
A signed or approved estimate, work order, invoice, receipt, carrier document or service-specific agreement may contain more specific terms. For that transaction, the more specific written term controls if it conflicts with this general page, except that no document waives a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be waived.
Website use
Use the site lawfully. Do not interfere with operation, attempt unauthorized access, submit malicious code, impersonate another person, scrape the site in a way that disrupts service, or send unlawful, deceptive, abusive or infringing material. Information on this site is general information, not legal, tax, investment, insurance or carrier-coverage advice.
Customer file uploads
The secure File Upload is provided for legitimate OBITCO print, design and service projects. A single submission may contain no more than 10 files or 50MB combined and must use an accepted document, image, design, spreadsheet, presentation, text or ZIP format. OBITCO may block or delete executable, scripted, malicious, unlawful, deceptive, infringing or unrelated content.
You represent that you own or have permission to provide every uploaded file and that OBITCO may access, reproduce and use it as reasonably necessary to review, quote and perform the requested service. Do not provide unnecessary sensitive information. Uploading does not create an order, approve a quote, guarantee a deadline or require OBITCO to accept a project. Production begins only after any required review, price approval, payment and authorization.
Files and the upload record expire no later than five days after submission and may be deleted sooner. Private download links are sent to OBITCO through an email-delivery provider. Internet transfer and email cannot be guaranteed uninterrupted or completely secure. Keep your original files, confirm receipt for urgent work and contact OBITCO if the confirmation message does not appear. OBITCO is not responsible for the loss of a customer's only copy.
Prices, estimates and availability
OBITCO works to publish clear, current prices. Inventory, metal markets, premiums, purchase rates, taxes, supply costs, carrier charges, third-party fees and project requirements can change. A displayed base price may exclude parts, materials, tax, shipping, specialty labor or options identified before authorization. A website price is not a final quote when the page says an inspection, consultation, custom estimate or current carrier rate is required.
Before additional work that materially changes an approved scope or price, OBITCO will request authorization when reasonably practical. Obvious typographical, technical or pricing errors may be corrected before a transaction is completed. West Virginia consumer rights and remedies remain available.
Payment, deposits and cancellations
Payment is due as shown on the estimate, invoice or receipt. Custom printing, design, website, special-order parts, large precious-metal orders and other made-to-order work may require a deposit or advance payment. Deposits, cancellation terms and refund eligibility will be stated for the transaction before work begins. Completed labor, approved design time, used materials, activated services and custom-produced items may not be refundable unless required by law or a written warranty applies.
Packing and shipping
OBITCO helps select packaging materials and service options based on the item and information you provide. You are responsible for accurate recipient information, truthful contents and value declarations, lawful shipment contents, and disclosure of fragile, hazardous, perishable, restricted or unusually valuable items. OBITCO may refuse a shipment that cannot be lawfully or safely accepted.
FedEx, UPS, USPS and DHL are independent carriers. OBITCO acts as a retail access point or intermediary for available carrier services; it is not the transporting carrier. When the carrier accepts a package and it leaves OBITCO's facility, custody, routing, scans, delivery timing and handling are controlled by the carrier. OBITCO has no operational control over the package while it is in carrier custody, but will provide available documentation and reasonable assistance with a timely claim.
Carrier terms, packaging rules, prohibited-item lists, claim deadlines, service guarantees and liability limits apply. Declared value may not be insurance. Coins, currency, bullion, precious metals and other valuables may be excluded or limited by ordinary carrier coverage. Confirm eligibility and obtain appropriate third-party coverage before shipping. A carrier's decision on delay, loss, damage or claim payment is not controlled by OBITCO.
Returns and carrier QR codes
OBITCO accepts eligible return labels and supported UPS Happy Returns, FedEx Easy Returns and USPS Label Broker or ID Broker codes when the applicable system authorizes the transaction. Amazon codes that identify The UPS Store must be taken to a participating The UPS Store location. A code, label or merchant instruction can expire or be rejected by the provider. Acceptance at the counter does not change the merchant's refund policy or guarantee that a merchant will issue a credit.
Notary, mailbox and document services
A notary verifies identity and performs the requested notarial act; a notary does not choose the document, provide legal advice or guarantee that a document is legally sufficient. The signer must be present with acceptable identification and must be willing and able to sign. OBITCO may decline a notarization when legal requirements are not satisfied. Posted notary charges will not exceed the maximum allowed by West Virginia law.
Mailbox service requires completed USPS Form 1583 documentation and acceptable identity and address evidence. The customer must keep information current, identify authorized recipients and comply with USPS and mailbox-service requirements. Mailbox availability, term, keys, forwarding, package storage and closure rules are provided in the mailbox agreement.
Fax, scanning, shredding, laminating and printing involve customer documents. Verify destinations and copies before leaving the counter. OBITCO will use reasonable care but cannot correct an inaccurate number, address or instruction supplied by the customer after transmission or production.
Computer repair, IT and remote support
You authorize only the work identified in the service request. Tell OBITCO about known damage, liquid exposure, malware, security incidents, encryption, failing storage or other conditions that may affect service. Inspection may reveal a different scope, and work may pause for authorization. Ticket, site, travel, diagnostic, labor, parts, licensing and specialty-service charges are explained on the service page or estimate.
Hardware, software, networks and storage can fail without warning. Maintain a current backup before service whenever possible. Repair, transfer and data-recovery outcomes depend on the condition of equipment and available access, so no result is guaranteed unless stated in writing. OBITCO is not responsible for a pre-existing defect or for loss that would have occurred regardless of reasonable service. This does not limit responsibility for OBITCO's own conduct where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Remote support allows a technician to view or control the authorized device. Stay available, close unrelated private information and provide only necessary credentials. OBITCO will not ask for a password or payment through an unsolicited remote-support request. End the session immediately and call the published OBITCO number if the identity of the technician is uncertain.
Printing, graphic design and customer content
You represent that you own or have permission to reproduce every image, logo, font, trademark, document and other work submitted. OBITCO may decline content that appears unlawful, infringing, deceptive, hateful, exploitative or unsafe. You are responsible for reviewing and approving spelling, dimensions, color expectations, quantities, placement and content in a proof. Screens and production devices vary, so an exact color match is not guaranteed unless a written specification says otherwise.
Graphic-design charges are based on requested work, complexity, revisions, licensing and deliverables. Ownership and permitted use of final files, working files, licensed assets and fonts will be described in the project agreement. Producing a print does not transfer rights in third-party content or in OBITCO's reusable tools and production methods.
Website hosting and design
Website proposals define scope, included pages, content responsibilities, revision rounds, accessibility work, hosting, maintenance, support and third-party costs. The customer must provide lawful content, timely approvals, accurate business claims and access needed for the project. Domains, plugins, themes, payment providers, email platforms and integrations may have separate fees and provider terms.
Search ranking, traffic, sales, uninterrupted hosting and compatibility with every future device or third-party change cannot be guaranteed. OBITCO will perform the agreed work using reasonable professional care. Ongoing updates, security maintenance, content changes, recovery and regulatory review are included only if stated in the agreement.
Coin shop, buying and appraisals
Inventory, authenticity, grade, condition, premiums and purchase offers are confirmed through inspection. Precious-metal pricing, including qualifying 40% and 90% constitutional silver, is locked when the evaluation and offer are made. Non-precious-metal offers may be valid for the period stated in writing. Published percentage guides describe default buying guidelines, not a guaranteed offer for every item.
You represent that you lawfully own or are authorized to sell each item. OBITCO may request identification, ownership information or tax documentation and may decline a transaction. Cash transactions and related transactions may be reported when federal or other law requires, including qualifying cash receipts over $10,000.
Free purchase evaluations are for items OBITCO is considering buying. A tax, insurance or estate appraisal is a separate paid service and reflects the stated purpose and effective date. It does not decide ownership, tax treatment, coverage or a future market price.
Mail-in coins and valuables
Contact OBITCO before sending valuable items. The sender is responsible for secure interior packaging, accurate addressing, lawful ownership, service eligibility, tracking and sufficient specialty insurance. Do not place value descriptions on the outside of the package. Risk remains with the sender until OBITCO accepts delivery. After evaluation, OBITCO will communicate an offer or return options. Payment or return-shipping requirements are confirmed for the transaction before completion.
eWaste and data-bearing equipment
You represent that you own or are authorized to dispose of each item. Back up and remove needed information before surrender. Unless a written data-destruction service is purchased and documented, acceptance for recycling is not a certification that data was erased. OBITCO may refuse excluded, unsafe, leaking, recalled or regulated material and may charge for items or services identified as fee-based before acceptance.
Customer property and unclaimed items
Pick up completed work and property within the time stated in the service notice or agreement. OBITCO will make reasonable attempts to contact you using the information supplied. Any handling of unclaimed property will follow the written service agreement and applicable West Virginia law; this page does not waive legally required notice or ownership rights.
Third-party services and links
Carrier tracking, Fieldprint, AnyDesk, TradingView, payment providers, maps, social media and other external services are controlled by their providers. Their availability, eligibility, accessibility, privacy and terms apply. The OBITCO File Upload uses hosting, private object-storage and email-delivery providers as service processors; their systems support the transfer but the customer-facing upload terms on this page apply. Verify the destination before entering information. A link or vendor logo identifies a service or relationship and does not transfer ownership or imply a broader guarantee.
Website content and intellectual property
Unless identified otherwise, OBITCO owns or licenses the website text, layout, graphics, photography and branding. They may not be copied for commercial use without permission. Carrier and partner names and logos belong to their respective owners.
Disclaimers and responsibility
The website is provided as available and may be interrupted for maintenance, security or events outside reasonable control. To the extent permitted by law, OBITCO is not responsible for loss caused solely by an independent carrier, external website, third-party platform, customer instruction, pre-existing condition or event outside OBITCO's reasonable control. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence or another responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits a remedy available under the West Virginia Consumer Credit and Protection Act or other applicable law.
Electronic communications
When you email, submit an email-prepared form or approve electronic communication, you consent to receive transaction records electronically at the address you provide when electronic delivery is permitted. You may request a paper copy or update your contact information. A legally required electronic record will be delivered only with the consent and disclosures required by applicable law.
West Virginia law, changes and severability
These terms are governed by West Virginia law to the extent permitted. A dispute may be brought in a court with lawful jurisdiction; these terms do not require private arbitration or waive a right to seek help from a government agency. If one provision is unenforceable, it will be limited only as necessary and the remaining provisions will continue. Updated terms apply prospectively from the date shown unless the law or a written agreement requires otherwise.
